Spotted on a recent trip to the Isle of Wight.

Absolutely pristine GT Outpost Trail, not a mark on it, no rust, no scratches or scrapes, literally looked like it just rolled out of the bike shop 15 years ago...

Not the most exciting piece of kit you might be thinking, but just goes to show there are still 'nearly new' Retrobikes out there.

Where's the 'NOS' then...?!

BB

He's working with the ebay definition.

..sorry chaps the ebay definition is 'used XTR but I kept the box'

OK how about 'ABSOLUTELY AS NEW, UNMARKED IN ANY WAY, WOULD BE NOS IF IT WAS STILL IN IT'S WRAPPER' for the pedantic...

This bike is on the NOS list (NOT OFTEN STOLEN), hence the cheap lock.

Oh dear everyone has completely missed the point. VGC means good for it's age/well looked after.

I was attempting to show that the thing could have been bought yesterday it was THAT UNMARKED.
And hence there will be other bikes in equally good nick of that age.

still wouldn't call it NOS… closest would be MINT, near NOS.

one criteria for it being NOS is it being UNUSED. Although it looks to not be, it clearly is since it's on the street, locked to a post.

people aren't trying to be nit-picky in this case, just accurate. ;)
