The new 26” Cruiser/BMX thread

Screw dem 26ers and 29ers. How about 1890s 30ers. I especially like the 35 tooth inch pitch chairing, dats 70 teeth to us. The cog looks like it’s got 11 teeth. This was back when men weren’t like ladies wearing pants. Short top tube and way down low, so glouriously uncomfortable. IMG_0964.jpeg

And not one single mention of namby pamby things like brakes...
 
In the 1980s there were a few BMX single speed bicycles around with 24 and 26 inch wheels hanging around the tracks. They called them cruisers. Too few to race and they were owned by different ages of racers. Everyone seemed to want one but they weren’t available locally. A few years ago I built a similar bike to race in an enduro. It was ensured by these early BMX cruisers that I remembered,
