The new 26” Cruiser/BMX thread

This is mine, it was build to help me get back cycling again, to help with my back which has improved a great deal since.
It is build around a 1998 GT Tempest frame with mostly Shimano XT drivetrain parts, Avid brakes and DMR parts, like jump forks, pedals and grips, the saddle has since been replaced for a more comfortable GT saddle. I am considering selling soon to make space and fund my next project.

My cruiser/pub/beater bike,the frame i bought from Retrobikeguy a long time ago.Its made by MIELE ,who now make washing machines fridges etc,and its really well made.Thought id put it together with period parts i had lying around.The plastic pedals will have to go,to replaced by some XC11 copies,the speed way bars are too wide,and the thumshifter needs replacing,its a rolling project.

^ @TZEDS that's a lovely bicycle. Your Miele was probably made in Canada, the vacuum company is a separate entity, German based. Great history of Jim Miele's bike company here:
