Slight change of direction on the brakes originally I was going to have polished onza HO's with red Ringle Mojos and polished Paul love levers but I've since realised that canti brakes aren't up to 16+ stone men (not if you want to stop quickly anyway) so I'd opted for XTR V's to match the rest, Until that was. . . . . . .

do you know the thickness of the spacers you need? i have a few spares but not entirely sure where they have all come from!

i do have the same cranks but i dont know which pack of spacers they are!



i am running single speed though so dont need them. if you can find the measurement i'll dig them out and post them with the brakes

Finally getting a bit of time for builds! Frame polished, forks chromed and polished, hope gunsmoke headset and seat clamp fitted X-lite camlock adapted to fit hope clamp, NOS red Ringle moby and zooka fitted

I wanted the seat clamp and headset to match and the seat and wheel QR's to match too but I've recently been riding one of my other bikes with a seat camlock fitted and I've realised I just to damn heavy for the Camlock to keep the post in place, the last thing I want is for the NOS ringle post to get scraped by the post sliding down with me on it.

So if anyone has an old style grey Hope bolted seat clamp I'd be very interested.

As you can see from the pictures above I've fitted it with hangers for canti brakes as I just can't make my mind up whether to got with the aesthetically pleasing NOS Onza, Ringle and X-lite combo . . . . .

Or the ability to actually stop! This bike will be running 54,44,32 chainrings and carrying a 16 stone bloke so I'm thinking perhaps the V over cantis (I'll obviously be swaping the orange rubber for red) . . .
