After going over last year to see the Tour on Ventoux, it kind of spurred me on to losing a bit of weight and having a crack at it with a few mates this year. Luckily, I have a buddy who lives only 10km's from Bedoin. Bit apprehensive as I'd never done a long continental type climb before but done plenty of stuff in the Lakes and Dales. Anyway, long story short, it was awesome. Took it pretty easy and found it very enjoyable. Only got passed by 3 people in the last 2 k's. The tarmac is soooo smooth, it was a joy to ride on!! Back next year to hopefully have a crack at Ventoux x 3 ways.
