You have some very beautiful frames, are they all in powder?

We powder or Ano- wet paint is too expensive, toxic and fragile for my preferences.

Semi retro content:
That blue frame is a 650b bike for Tammy Jacques Grewal.
She's making a comeback and wanted something racier than her Erriksen.

FTW built her bikes in the early 90's so we were a natural choice.

We're building Rishi a sweet steel 29'r too. The two bikes he still rides are a Klein Palomino and a super cool fillet-brazed GT Psyclone.

As a certified child of the NORBA circuit I had NO choice but to build Rishi a frame. He's Rishi ******* Grewal after all!

Both of those guys have ALL of their old team bikes in the garage...

What's your view on scandium for a lightweight rider who uses it for light recreational XC with no big hits or high speeds Mickey?

Is that a semi-translucent powdercoat on the blue frame?

Yeah.
We were originally going to blast the logos into the frame with the trans over it but then I realized that it was a team bike, so more visible stickers was probably a good idea.

I'm experimenting with pre-heat temperatures and etching degreasers on team frames to see if we can dial in the long-term longevity of a non-blasted powder job. Intense ships bikes with that finish now, but I really want to see the long term durability on it myself before I sell that to someone.

If it's cheap and you don't care if it breaks, why the heck not?
