The BSO's Your Ashamed to Like and/or Actually Own

Subject says it all and I personally have had a few but none at the moment

Really liked my Raleigh Activator II and even raced it breifly before crashing big style and it wasn't the Craptivators fault, just my cataclysmic ineptitude.

Owned several Emmelles, Townsends, Integra's and Raleighs less celebrated heaps. Enjoyed aspects of them all.

So post up, fess up and if you can stand the embarrassment put up a picture.

Dont come in to rant about how awful BSO's are, We Know !!!!!

Its just a bit of fun.

Re:

I had one of these bad boys a Sun Super 5, with the original arse slicer plastic saddle. Basically a Raleigh Arena in a different colour.

Think my younger brother had one of those in its Raleigh version for his paper round in the 80's.
Was it alloy rims or the lethal steel ones :)

Think it was steels, vaguely remember textured braking surface.

Raleigh Equipe bought when a youth, did the job of getting me around but not the lightest of steeds

Re:

What's happened here? Were BSOs only invented in 1998?

Many happy memories of a Raleigh Arena here. Loved that bike in the, er, 1980s. Sadly, no photos.
