The spacers kept moving to I wrapped the adapter in white packing foam then slid the spacers over, still not 100% so I'll glue the spacers perfectly in line then replace them, May need a smidge more packing. They do, almost seamless. The one thing that's put me off in the past. Removable face plate is a great idea. I bought a velo orange one for my Randonneur, the most money I've spent on a stem![]()
Worthwhile doing as it looks very close to ahead. The spacers kept moving to I wrapped the adapter in white packing foam then slid the spacers over, still not 100% so I'll glue the spacers perfectly in line then replace them, May need a smidge more packing.
I got some mudguards but they're quite close, especially the rear, that said that's mostly due to the modern fixing bracket, using an old pressed sheet steel one may allow fitting.Wowthat's much more than I thought.
The plastic one's I've found you can't get as tight to the bridges.I got some mudguards but they're quite close, especially the rear, that said that's mostly due to the modern fixing bracket, using an old pressed sheet steel one may allow fitting.
These are Bluemells, I reckon I've an old bracket that will fit for winter use...hopefully!The plastic one's I've found you can't get as tight to the bridges.
