With better equipment that would make a nice bike, I'd have one they weren't much more than that new if memory serves

500 in 2012, which is about 600 now in bike pricing - and this bike was unused.

A very favourable review Tom it sounds just the ticket. All of my Raleighs are old and worn with the exception minty Royal. They all do what they are supposed to. I'd definitely try one having seen the one you sold and reading his review.

Speaking of Raleigh Royals I spotted this one on Ebay, I have never seen this model before which I guess predates the Reynolds framed models as it is marked 20-30 tubing, still has some reasonable alloy components though.



While I am about it here is an even earlier Royal which appears to be just a Sports with different decals.
