from my experience he's safe from the crackheads. They nick anything full sus but leave the pimp hardtails well alone. I had a fisher cake and a cannondale jekyll stolen before i went back to riding a ti hardtail. it never gets a second look.

I agree, if you don't know anything about bikes it looks like a piece of unglamorous crap, I mean jesus the Ringle QR are still in place! :shock:
I used to regularly see a Manitou FS chained up in Gothenburg in much the same condition.
