I hope that the finish is just the carbon weave catching the light and looking like scuffs and scratches...

However it doesn't look like a great design for carbon anyway.

that looks surprisinglly shit - like someone attacked the clamps with an angle grinder. :shock:

i have a merek seatpost, light and well finished so am surprised by the low quaity of this item.
