Sorry - does nothing for me at all. Not saying it deserves to be BOY, as the majority of you here thinks its awesome, but it doesnt do anything for me at all.

I think it's more about the fact that someone saw a picture of their fave rider and said, right, I'm going to build an exact replica of that bike... stuck to it over many years by the sound of it, never gave up on the part search and finished with an awesome machine..

That to me is more worthy than a tricker piece of kit thats been wrapped in bubble wrap for 20 years...

For me it's about the story, and the fact it's an awesome build..

But as you say it's horses for courses and it would be a dull world if we all liked the same thing...

I should point out that I very nearly voted for just about all the other bikes in the mix at some point....

Very well put James. There's something to be said about painting outside the lines and creating your own builds from scratch. God knows I cant wait to stop doing these replica projects and begin something of my own creation...

...but from a rarity and collectability standpoint, this really deserves the BOTY. I havent been in 'the game' nearly as long as alot of people here, but in a year and a half, I have never seen one of those forks, hub, or stem available in the open market. No detail was spared. Its really an unbelievable testament to Eric's patience.
