Don't know whether anyone else saw this on Thursday night on BBC2, but it was rather good.
The BBC's usual strategy when making a programme about the 1980s is to moan about Margaret Thatcher for an hour. So I wasn't expecting much. But in fact, this was balanced, thoughtful and had a cracking soundtrack of early eighties numbers.
There are 3 parts in total, so the first is now on iPlayer and there are still 2 left to be broadcast.

Worth a watch, even if it's only for glimpses of Ford Cortinas and Woolworth's.
