Well if 22lb without gears is wanted, that easier. can do it without seat or grips as well, that's a bit more off. Why bother with a chain and the cogs in fact, just point it down hill or scoot with you're legs ;)

I know it wasn't stipulated

Wow, quite a rant! Forget your happy-pills? ;) It came in within the thread criteria (i.e. cr-mo & < 22lb). :D

(Don't take offense! I'm just having a lend... as i'm sure you were...)

You sure? That fork weighs 18.3lb on it's own! JK!

YEAH i was suprised at that , the bloke that sold me it had to convince me too

the gt was 21.46 lbs , now iv'e checked my spreadsheet

I'm afraid I've never seen the point of leaving stuff OFF (an MTB...) just to able to say 'My bike weighs under...'

By all means crow about it if you've got a fully functional bike (and weigh it with the pedals on!) that you've spent a small fortune on boutique kit to get the weight right down, but when roadbikes weigh next to nothing straight out of the box I just don't get it... :?

Are there any suspension bike under 22 lbs? Mine was really close in 1998, at 22,2 lbs. now with the Fox fork it's about 1 lbs eavier...

sub 22 lbs suspension steel frame with gear? Some thing usable.

There'll be a Retro Ride in Bristol in September. You're coming CCE....EVEN IF IT'S RAINING. I'm still toying with the idea of fitting me ti BB because of your infectious weight-weenie disease.
