The 2010 election thread

It seems that both red and blue look after all the fat cat m8's and have done for years

I would like to think that Voting Lib Dem won't mean a hung parliament as it seems to be the only party that is willing to change all the backhanders ... plus scraping trident .... you don't need nukes any more as all countries are dependent on each other nowadays

I'm going yellow as the others are just self serving gits !

dont care I cant vote , I am an immigrant .

I thought EU citizens could vote?? Non of my (ex)wife could/can vote. As Japanese, Chinese and Burmese. But they work and pay UK tax.
Their is a voter card for the ex-tenant . Was thinking of voting for him? But i can't pass for a Mr Ali  Smith yes

Oh and the voters have short memories. I grew up under the Conservaties. It was a ******* nightmare. They have not changed

I can vote for some local elections but I havent received my voting card this time .

I havent a clue who to vote for. My local MP was caught with his hand in the till, we're right in the middle of Conservative land and I cant stand Cameron...

Similar problem here. Basically my vote is worthless - there is a 13,000 Conservative majority, so I can neither vote out Brown, nor vote anyone else in other than the Bullingdon club.

I don't like politics myself but I also don't like seeing the country go to ratpoo, which has happened undeniably under Labour.

I can't remember where I heard it but I remember hearing someone say they'd love to ask Gordon Brown "What's it like getting your dream job, then realising your sh1t at it?!?"

very much agree with this.

my family has always been tory and i have obviousley been influenced by this with my vote by thinking that my dad must know what he is talking about.

what i will say is i think most politicians are self serving idiots and i think they are all as bad as eachother generally regardless of the party they are in. i won't take the expenses fiasco in to account when voting as they were all at it so i think it is irrelavent to the vote.

having said that i am SICK TO DEATH OF GORDON BROWN, i'm sorry if that offends but none of us voted for him and that in itself annoys me. i feel he has made too many mistakes generally. raided pensions which has devastated my parents retirement, sold our countries gold reserves, put the country into debt.

it just seems to me that this guy is simply not capable of doing the job whether as chancellor or PM. i find the sudden arse kissing of clegg sad and pathetic aswel.

i actually like both clegg and cameron, i think they both seem to give a crap, ideally i'd like clegg overall but i think as has been said that that would lead to a hung parliament so i'll probably go tory anyway but this is a tory strong hold seat here anyway.

on a personal note i always think brown looks a mess, (unlike blair) and i feel he has someone constantly pointing out things to him to make him appear more normal/friendly/down to earth or whatever, but he just doesn't seem to pull it off and just makes me think he's faking it, cos he is!

my 2p

Wouldn't it be funny if Labour won but Brown lost his seat

That'll confuse the Americans.
