A fitting cockpit upgrade, very nice! The cranks look great polished up too. Personally that style of bar grip always looks a bit strange to me, but I see them on quite a few xc builds so they must be pretty comfortable.

cheers yes its just what it needed. yes theyre not bad deffo comfyier than normal grips although i use the bar ends 80% of the time now.

Ergon make some similar grips with integrated bar ends.

Not much to update on but i have managed to source some mavic 517 copy decals for the rims as mine didnt have any when i got them. Not quite the same as the shiney foil originals but close enough.

Hi all

Sadly this project is coming to an end it seems. I was starting to feel i was a little maxed out on it size wise so went on the lookout for a 20'' kona to try. A 20'' 97 Kilauea came up so i snapped it up quick. I've done a couple of rides on it now and 20'' seems to be the better size for me.
so sadly this 19'' explosif has been stripped down to be put up for sale in the near future.
