Thanks

PS if it’s got the “Star Trek” style head badge it’s a ‘96 Oracle
Just looked at this on my PC big screen. Definitely not a 95 Spirit
Star Trek! Yes that is what it is like. The code on the crank is TK, am I right in thinking Nov 95?

Burnt Orange? I need a new screen😬 it’s a 1996 Athon

The Ritchey sticker isn’t original
Wow, that is it! I am seriously impressed. Just read Ritchey tyres, could the sticker relate to that?

Hi, I am seriously impressed! This is it. It looks like this has the same Ritchey sticker just behind the crankshaft near the wheel and the bumf of the advert says Ritchey wheels. Could this be the reason for the sticker?

was it worth £20?

Now I've gone and put my readers on, yes you are quite correct, it's a Ritchey sticker on the stays, must be a tie in with the tyres.
As for worth? Well even though it's low in the pecking order, you can't complain at £20;):)

That my thoughts too. I am going to enjoy doing this with my boys. I am seriously impressed with how good condition it’s in considering how old it is.

I have a bit of a soft spot for Clad Butler mtb’s now.

Would you have similar knowledge about the Ventoux bike? That one is all done and reassembled now sporting a nice pale blue paint job courtesy of an uncle who is a car sprayer.

The seat post was completely stuck and was pretty much trashed removing it, seat ripped and scraped and rust spots here and there. New bearings required and a bit of oil on the chain as well as new brake and gear cables so not too much wrong with a 30 year old bike about to be skipped
