Finished apart from mudguards. Finished to my satisfaction that is. I know from the comments I’ve horrified some of the purists. I’ve been out on my usual 5 mile circuit on this “1953 Avant Coureur Special “ (as I’m 72 now I normally do this on my electric bike). One chainwheel and a freewheel 18 - really smooth ride and raring to go further. Thanks again for all your input and inspiration
