Bought with cool but knackered paint having just had a crack in the seat clamp lug repaired I had this powder-coated grey and had big ideas about it being a commuter maybe, or my main touring frame. (un?)fortunately I already have two great bikes fulfilling these needs and so this needs to go.

Terry Dolan built (4 digit serial), fillet brazed light touring frame built from Reynolds 531C tubing and with plenty of eyelets for mudguards/rackets etc. 1" head tube, canti mounts and for a 700c wheel. Pretty light at 2.575 KG (including headset) it is very finely built as per most of his work, I have two others currently and he is amongst the best of the UK frame builders from BITD in my opinion.

The frame has had the afore-mentioned seat tube repair and was carefully checked over before the paint job and despite some corrosion I was confident it was sound. There are a few minor faults: there is a bit of media left in the frame after blasting, only noticeable when you tip it up like one of those tins that moos; one seatstay eyelet (for rack) is blocked up a bit with powder so only takes a small length of bolt, you can still run a rack in it, or use the seatstay bridge hole; I have filed down the weld on the inside of the seat tube and it now takes a 27.0 securely, this could be reamed out to 27.2 perhaps; the powder coat is a bit lumpy in places. Anyway, minor points, it is a high-end, lightweight touring/bike-packing/winter/commuter frame :)

Lightly used Tange Falcon sealed bearing headset included, technical info below, asking £250 collected from SE19 or N1, or postage at cost I also have some decals to go with it if you wish.
