North East, North and West Yorkshire are proud to present
Temple Newsam, to Lotherton hall
Start point :: Temple Newsam, large car park (Free). LS15 0AE.
Date :: Sunday, 18th of February
Time :: 10:00 am for a 10:30 am start
Terrain :: Parkland bridal ways, country parks and various green ways.
Difficulty :: 2/5.
Mileage :: > 17 miles.
This is a nice steady route starting from the large car park (free) at Temple Newsam, we will head of towards Colton, to pick up the Leeds Country way, most of the route is off road passing through Bramham park, and is relatively flat, then a short road section, leading into Lotherton hall. Again we have free entry to Lotherton as cyclists. There is a nice court yard and Cafe for our food stop.
We will then return back to Temple Newsam, along a similar route. This is a steady Winter ride that can be ridden in most conditions, and will not be too challenging for those who have over indulged over Christmas.
So come on there are no excuses to get out and ride.
Anyone is welcome, do not worry about what you are riding, or your fitness levels, we do not leave anyone behind
