I am not sure that will make it to this build, looks a little fragile for my liking.

OK so I have located a woody, thank Kult Friction, I would not have picked that.

*The rear shock appears to be a BOS which is too long. I assume they have an internal spacer to limit travel to 50mm at the shock shaft but you can see the way it is mounted that this is a longer body overall than stock

A Woody mech will not work with Xray shifters. You need ESP 9.0 Gripshifters for that. Like these,

You have totally overlooked the fact that John Tomac and Doug Bradbury were best mates and went into business together to do Tomac frames

Given Doug Bradbury was Manitou what do you think the rear shock might be......

Thanks Boxxer - this is exactly the sort of info I was hoping to get out of this thread!

I had a good look around. The long reservoir and red anodised clevis had me thinking it might have been a BOS. I found this item on ebay which looked similar;

The shock on Tomac's bike looks longer than the stock Fox I have.

I will keep digging around and see what comes up, but if Tomac was riding a Manitou prototype I might be shit out of luck!

This bike is proving to be a bit elusive, there is not much info around.
