Tecnisport info please

Hello all,

Can anyone shine some light on Tecnisport as a frame set or bike manufacturer? I’ve seen a mid to late 80’s 531c frame set for sale that I like the look of. I’ve done the usual searches and can only find a recent for sale post and an image or two. Does anybody know where they were made? Possibly a European brand? Any history on the brand? Were they built by one company then stickered and sold by another?

Any info would be much appreciated.

Thanks for that. I did come across that site after my plea for help. It could well be the where the bike originated from. I bet the business was a lot different in the 80’s, if it is one and the same.
Spain???

I asked the seller a few questions, he didn’t have any info on the brand but confirmed the threads are British, I’m not sure if that changes the possibility of it being Spanish made. Or is it just a generic frame which has been refinished and rebadged? The Tecnisport graphics do show some age though. Who knows.

I took a chance and have bought it I wouldn’t be surprised if is not a 531c frame when I get my hands on it. Which will be ok, I bought it with a project in mind and I’m sure it will do the job.
