"Tech" brand bikes

I picked this early 90's Tech Wild Thing up last year for the Shimano parts. Need to build it back up with other parts and put back into the wild.

That first polished one is spectacular. I don't understand how there are so few of them here. Did they sell more in Europe than Canada, or were you guys just nicer with your toys?

The first one is my fav too of the three here, but i'm a sucker to the paint scheme and the headbadge on the last one.
They were selling these in Austria, and the NL, possibly in Germany as well. I guess they had stronger competitors on the Canadian and US market so selling them in Europe was maybe going better

I have been trying to get more info about the brand Cycle Tech as well. I bought a Tech bike in High School. I believe it was around 1990 or 1991. Attached is an image of my bike circa 1991. This had a 6000 or 7000 series fat tube aluminum frame and I believe the frame was made in Japan. The components were the highest end Suntour components, with a MAGNESIUM chainring and quick access bearing valves that allowed a grease gun to be quickly inserted into the hubs: old grease pushes out the other end and new grease enters in from the grease gun end. I sold it around the year 2000 and have been trying to find it or another one for the past 3 years. It's a unicorn.

I believe the model is "Exotic". Apparently there is a 1991 Mountain Bike Action Buyer's Guide and Tech bikes are in it, including the Tech Exotic.

If anyone has one of these Tech frames I'd be interested in the frame numbers - The True Temper frames may have come from the same factory as the 93/94/95 Diamondbacks and KHS frames, and this one
