can some one Measure their team fat or yo tubeset for me please. All tube external diameters and if possible some close up photos of the rear drop outs chainstays to bottom bracket and and chainstays to top of seat tube junction. you,ll probably be thinking what,s he doing i,ve found a bike shop that will sell me a tubeset my plan of action is to build myself a fat replica.

and above all i,ve been welding since i was 14 1 am now 37 and i would like to have a go at building a frame. and it has too be a fat chance i used to drool over them in the bike mags.

u can pick FATs up pretty cheaply b.t.w. I got a yo eddy frame & fork in january for £100, they're out there, you just gotta be patient hunting em down

£100 !!! These frames alone ( no BOI ) were around £1K back in 1990. Maybe it was stolen or last owner had passed away and his successors didnt know its real value or maybe he lied !. Finest artisan US handmade frames that still stand upto anything handmade in steel today.

I didn’t read the thread dates until the £100 statement and realised then that something was off . That Mexico must be worth a penny or two now also

Whats weird is that the thread was ‘re-activated’ as current BEFORE I posted. I never searched it up to respond like normally happens. Thankfully these Yos are appreciated better now and people know their value better.
