Not sure, could be wrong here, but a team chance is not quite the same as a fat chance. Out of interest, what size is the syncros post as I'm after a 27.2 version, if of course you'd consider splitting?

I think that is the general implication I'm afraid. That said, good tubing, nice fork, geometry should be fine so whilst not for the fat chance purists, it's still a nice enough frame, just not with anywhere near as much as a full fat chance frame I don't think.

Hmmm very interesting reading, it's almost like a illegitimate/ immigrant love child

This one seems to lack the extended seat tube section as mentioned on the mombat article.

I think I like it even more now I know it's roots- if I did not have the cost of a rusty seat tube to replace I would of snapped this up I think.
