Im not sure what stickers for the fork i will go for, red(2001) would go nice with the paint and the fork i used to have was the super t in red, black(1999) is more period correct.

Love M1s in team colours, all that surface area lends itself to custom paint schemes. So I guess DBS was yet another manufacturer who rebranded M1s for their downhill riders?
If you want to keep those parts you can dip the stained end of the calipers and the connectors in a warm citric acid solution which will remove the rust and staining on the aluminium.
The build is looking amazing - congrats! I'm surprised they chose to go with a Monster T on a race bike. Those always seemed like a hucker's fork rather than one built to fight for 10ths of a second on course. It looks amazing though.
