Just spotted the ‘American built’ sticker.

Any retro experts know what means?
Always assumed from BITD that Tange (Prestige) = made in Japan.

Maybe it was just the steel fork legs??

I appreciate there is a Bontrager connection with the crown design.

Also makes me interested to consider them for my Bonty Race OR to replace RSMag21+Bonty crown…

Basically Tange licensed the design from Bontrager and then eventually Bontrager ended up producing the fork for them in the US.
