T-minus 7 days… (1991 Rocky Mountain Altitude)

Will you be installing red levers to match?
nah, i'm gonna keep with the black/silver Avid Ult SD levers. i think i have enough colour on the cockpit with the yellow/red grip combo. think i'd be over-doing it with more colour on the levers.

so the CR brakes didn't come with the appropriate cable ends for the straddle cable. my plan was to just source some generic round ones. however, i managed to source a single spare brake from banshee and it came with an original. i made some measurements and John (B3) was kind enough to offer to make some reproductions for me. came out PERFECT! all i need to do is make a stop at the local hardware store to pick up the appropriate size/length grub screw. :D

Re:

Altitude is now complete with CR brakes installed and set up both front and back, as well as moving over the CR skewers from the Cirrus. Some minor things to wrap up on the build, cable end crimps and anodize the Ringle seat binder bits to red to match the lever. There's also some front brake shudderring I need to tune out.

Hopefully I'll have a chance to take some full bike shots on the way home after work if the weather holds out.
