For sale a 94' Syncros Cattleprod stem in very nice condition. 130mm length and 15° rise. 1" (25.4mm) quill for 1"-1/8 fork steerer.

Apologies, I cannot for the life of me find the ‘Start Conversation’ link to PM you! I can’t find it on anyone else profile either!

I don’t buy a lot here so maybe it’s changed and I’m missing something but if you’re able to advise how or PM me, can chat more readily.

I did have one question though - the 1” quill for a 1 1/8” fork steerer - how does that work? Wouldn’t a quill for a 1 1/8” fork be marked as such?
I have a 1 1/8” fork this would need to fit but a 1” quill doesn’t suggest it would.

Your fork is 1-1/8", that is the external diameter
The internal diameter is 1", so the quill is 1" as it goes on the inside.

A 1" headset/fork takes a quill that is 1/8" less so 7/8"

In metric that is
7/8" = 22.2mm
1" = 25.4mm
1-1/8" = 28.6mm

And then for evolution
1-1/4" = 31.8mm (external)
