Swap Dogleg rear canti guide

I made a boo boo, thought I was on a winner and rushed and bought a Dogleg rear canti cable guide of ebay. But it's the wrong size at 32mm and I need a 30mm for a 1994 lavadome.

So happy to swap one for one. Has some marks on it but looks in working order.

Thanks.

Re:

Hi
I don't need yours but i have the original one off my 93 Cindercone if your interested.

Re:

I would like one of those for a 1997 Hahanna, I'm using v's at the moment to get it on the road for the mrs but would like to keep options open so if after your discussions there is one of the right size for me going then YES PLEASE

I would have a guess my one would be for you as its from a newer kona, not 100% what one. To check measure the outside diameter of your seat tube on your frame.

Re:

Sorry, away from my stash at the moment but its for a 28.6 seat tube and is the OEM one that came on canti equipped steel Konas.
Its a black one if that makes a difference.

sadly not, it seems I need a 30mm as well, hey ho.........back to the drawing board we go, thanks for the thought anyway

Could you not make a plastic shim? I've done similar many times with seat collars and also front mechs and seat tube mounted chain guides, using cut up old water bottles and also plastic and alloy seatpost shims - works fine and if you're careful with sizing, you won't even know it's there.

thanks for the thought, yes I could, or even strong tape given not load bearing, but I'll just carry on looking, afterall its the mrs' bike and she is less bothered if its v or canti, I'd just like to keep the options open so that its there in the bits box
