Have been watching these forks over the past three weeks. Look to be in very poor condition but i was interested in them for spares. Appeared to sell for rather a lot, but were immediately relisted. Sold for a second time, again for rather a lot, but immediately relisted. Now watching them again for a third time just out of interest!!!!

Re:

Looks to be blatant shill bidding. Both winners have 100% bid history with the seller, one bid on the sellers bike stuff and then also bid on the sellers vw VR6 fuel rail. All seems a bit too diverse to be coincidental.

apparently even great feedback...

"Rapid delivery, top class seller!!!! Buyer: 5***w
MTB Marzocchi 2001 Z2 Bomber suspension forks"

Yeah. Plain stupid.

If one wants to sell something - then SELL it. If one uses shill bidding, they are usually very greedy and will end up winning their own auction, such as in this case. They end up with item not being sold AND with seller fees, should they not cancel the transaction.

Why can't people simply start auctions at their lowest possible selling price OR pay a little bit for a reasonable reserve price, sit back and relax.

On the other hand, I also hate people who place and cancel a £1000 bid just to check what the reserve price was!
