Suspect stolen PACE RC405 with Police.

Re:

Have you contacted PACE to see if the owner was registered with them?
Or asked the local shops?

I know it sounds time consuming but our local police regularly visited there cycle shops around here.

Plus email is quick.

As for as sticky, it would be much better to link to the online 'reporting you bike stolen' sites and then leave it to a dedicated website. Less clutter and a much wider audience.

Yes is difficult to understand why so many people do not report their cycles stolen, I was a victim myself some years ago when my new Raleigh activator got stolen never to be seen again. In our force we keep cycles for a month or so and they then go to an independent auction house. What I will say is the majority of the cycles are of very low value and generally fetch a low price but occasionally there is the odd nice bike. Mr W I think you need a better quality cycle lock!!!

Yes Pace have been extremely helpful throughout and yes we speak to local shops on a regular basis but thank you for the comments. I just want to find the loser and return it.

If the owner doesn't turn up there'll be a riot on here when it ends up for sale on the Bumblebee site.
