Super Leggera Specialissima. but not a Bianchi

The challenge of finding an interesting bike to tinker with during the colder months is always an enjoyable one for me. And this year was no exception. Last year's Grandis with full Chorus groupset (incl Syncro 7 speed indexing) has been surpassed with this rather lovely Super Leggera Specialissima. Highlights include:

Columbus SL frame set with polished lugs and concave seat stay "ears", engraved fork crown with "S" and wreath
Full 1977/8 Super Record Groupset incl fluted cranks, fluted seatpost, brake levers and calipers
Ambrosio 1977 Countach Mercurio D'Oro rims on Record hubs
Vittoria Competition Special Pro TT tub tyres
Ambrosio stem and Ambrosio 13 Volte Campione handlebars (could be original to the bike as versions are different from the later 80s versions on velobase)
Saddle is a Selle Italia leather saddle (?copy of the San Marco Concor Supercorsa)- can't find one on Velobase, so might be quite rare/ short-lived.

This was the top of the range from one assumes the in-house master frame builder at Sedazzari, a bike shop in Genova, Italy which has been trading since 1912, but now sadly closed.

I've cleaned out the hubs and re-greased the bearings, so now buttery smooth, but both wheels will need truing. Now looking for some Super Record pedals (or copies from Gipiemme/ Ofmega etc....). Looking forwards to warmer drier weather...

Following acquisition of another Sedazzari Specialissima (this time an Arabesque frame), I thought I should really find out more about the brand and the shop's long history of bike making in Genoa. The odd mention here and there in Forums is pretty inaccurate and unhelpful, so here, to the best of my knowledge is the only website and resource for "Cicli Sedazzari, since 1912", written curated and published by myself.

If anyone has further info and especially a pic of the actual shop I would be pleased to receive it.

I now believe that Mario Peloso ('Mario di Alessandria') possibly built some of the 50s/60s Sedazzari bike frames. Confusingly, the later Sedazzari Specialissima models were built by another frame builder sharing the same first name, "Mario" and referred to by locals as 'Mario di Staglieno'-an area in Genoa.
