Hello.i have got my old scott super evolution out .i am thinking of rebuilding it.
Coul d i use a 27 speed group set.has any one polish a alloy frame?

27sp stuff should work fine, most standards of rear spacing/BB's are still the same.

Polishing? Show us some pics of what the frame looks like now - those Scotts had lovely distinctive paint jobs and it would be a shame to polish it off if it can be repaired. It's a long and very arduous task polishing a whole frame which is originally painted too.

Hi Will post a pic later.it is a orange front end one.some of the alloy is starting to bubble under paint so may polish it.
As re paint it would cost alot .
