I do too, but even new modern pedals can go for ridiculous amounts nowadays. I'm glad my approach to retro is pretty casual and I don't feel I must have a particular part to complete a bike.

These were originals, AFAIK. My brother had them on his grifter as an aftermarket..
I had the Sturmer archer.. 2 black rubber bits and orange reflectors per pedal on the chopper..
Aspirational pedals when you're 11..

Always been a believer in Campag, Suntour, Shimano or Bullseye pedals. They all still spin like new after 30+ years of low maintenance service. Agree though some of the boutique US shin rippers are as much as a decent bike.
