Suntour v shimano compatability

Does anyone run shimmy mechs to suntour cassette? Or will a shimano cassette fit on a suntour spline?

Old Suntour splines are incompatible, some spacing is not too near either.

The overall cassette spacing is so close between the two brands that you shouldn't have any trouble. I do it the other way round with suntour mechs and shimano compatible cassettes.
