Suntour MD help needed please!

I have a Suntour XC Pro rear derailleur date stamped HF ('91) with no other visible markings on it and a pair of Suntour XC Pro Accushift Plus thumb shifters. They're marked Accushift Plus.

I am going to run a Micro Drive 7 speed groupset and was wondering whether either/both of these are compatible. I want to be able to use them in index mode. Any help greatly appreciated as my incessant internet searching is beginning to drive me bonkers!

I think the short answer is you'll be fine running them together.

Thanks. I was questioning myself because around this time Suntour made both XC Pro and XC Pro Microdrive derailleurs and I wasn't sure whether there was anything that might hinder correct operation.
Then I thought maybe the shifters had slightly different indexing.

I'm having the wheels that I bought from you built up so when I get them back I'll have a chance to put things together and have a go.

Sure, no problem. I have the wheel and cassette together and all the bits are there, but I'm in the process of refurbing the derailleur a bit and finishing polishing one of the crank arms. As soon as I get some free time, I'll be back on the case!
