Sunday 9th April Riggs n Gullies (Easter egg hunt).

Did this a couple of years ago and it was well received so having another bash at it . Think it's around 20ish miles from memory , packed lunch and BYOB for dinner at a lovely sheltered riverside spot . Couple of short steep climbs but mostly steady gradients upwards , stunning views across Bransdale and Farndale (yes it's in North York Moors ). Pub stop for a breather after final climb about a mile from finish.
Meet in lay-by on very minor road out of Gillamoor heading up towards Boonhill Common (OS SE6758 905 W3W (stream.copies.raven ) road is called Highfield Lane.
We will be doing some absolutely stunning downhill single track but don't expect to be back at cars till probably 4ish at the earliest .
Meet 10 am for 10.30 start .

If anyone wants an extra couple of miles I will be starting at Kirkbymoorside for a gentle spin (uphill) through parkland and lanes and later in the day a return via delightful wooded single track down Sleightholmdale and Kirkdale. It will add another 10 miles but the return route is cracking. Departing from the car park behind the town hall at 9am sharp.
