J JohnOhNo Retro Newbie Jun 20, 2024 #22 Thanks all, I filed down the badly fitting c-clamp (pictured), applied heat and that loosened the lock ring. A little spray of PB Blaster on the threads & it came out by hand (along with the bearings!!). Thank you all for your help
