Does anyone have any pictures or info on the Chris Barber Ten replica race bike please. I think this must be the model I rember seeing a long long time ago in a bike shop on Canvey Island and wanted one but Mum said NO......

There's a reference to a 1970 Sun catalogue, in the another Sun thread on this forum. That shows a Chris Barber bike too.

I'm a bit rubbish at posting links on a mobile, but if you google "Bulgier Catalogs, sun 70" you should find it.

The one that I remember in my local bike shop, some time in the very early 70's was definitely white and green.

I lusted after it for ages...

I always wanted a Sun team racing bike - like one Roger Claridge had at the time when on the team Only his was reeeeally small.
Loved the look of the things - yes, white and green.

Mine is the yellow one .....

Bit late to the thread ( OK so I didn't know you were here ... ).

The Sun Chris Barber I have from the 70s is yellow and green. Most of the original bits have long gone, having been renovated twice, and used a lot over the years. I'll clear all the mud and road muck off and post a picture when I can.
