summer Ride - Aviemore revisit - 17/18TH July 2015 - BOOKED

Re:

ok guys will get this booked asap will try for the 6bed dorm

cost for me, gary, clubby and ZZ is £228 - £20 (velo one night) = 208/4 = 52 each.

if Jamie makes it its 208/5 = 42 each so if Jamie comes he can give us £10 each on the weekend.

if you guys are ok with that I'll get it booked.

Re:

How many nights tk?

If Jamie does make it we might have 7 but sure we can sort something for the campsite worst case

Re: summer Ride - Aviemore revisit - July 2015 UPDATE

no bother - will book today and send details by PM.

Ok guys thats the bunk house booked

keithyr - bunkhouse fri/sat nights
garymac - bunkhouse fri/sat nights
ZZ - bunkhouse fri/sat nights
Clubby - bunkhouse fri/sat nights
TK - bunkhouse fri/sat nights
Velo - sunday ride bunkhouse sat night

Jamie - bunkhouse fri/sat nights - Possible

Jimo746 - sunday only no accomodation
FFTC sat ride - camping will sort himself

Cost is £228 total for the 6 bed dorm. If Jamie comes we will have 6 folk plus Velo. I've checked with the bunkhouse and they are flexible and if we bring a camp bed, sleeping mat and bag one of us can sleep on the floor etc so all good.

I've paid £114 upfront so need £22.80 from ZZ, TK and clubby to cover that. We can then sort out the balance the week before once Jamie knows for def if he is coming. I'll PM you my paypal address.

Velo - if Jamie comes along its not fair getting you to pay for sleeping on the floor, you can shout us a round in the pub. If Jamie doesnt make it we will devide the remaining £114 between the 6 of us.

check in is from 4pm on the friday. I reckon we should aim for arriving 7pm then food and a couple of pints in the pub and early night.

Saturday 10am riding for Ryovan anti-clockwise. Cake stop in Boat of Garden. this will be a 4hour or so ride.
there are numerous oppurtunities to extend into the forest around Nethy Bridge. We will also be on the speyside way for a bit.

Saturday night - food and beers then likely an earlyish night.

Sunday 10am checkout and head down to Laggan. to see what we fancy doing in there. Its tough apparently so will be taking it very easy.

Now bikes, Ryovan is retro friendly but a long walk if you have a failure. Also some eposed riding so come prepared. Laggan is not retro friendly so retro/modern/fat are welcome.

I think i will be riding fat.

should be a good one lads.

Looking forward to it, I'll take my own car ZZ :) want a lift? My new street is safe to park on.
:) Aye, could do TK. You got room for Velo on the way back down too?

Re:

I'll know nearer the time if I can make an appearance on the Saturday as well as Sunday, it all depends on where I am/what I'm doing.

Laggan is pretty tough on bike & rider, a modern full-bouncer is ideal, or at least a modern hardtail. A retro rigid would be the masochists choice however
