longshot -
does anyone have any as-new or slightly worn chainrings for the bizarre 1995-ish 5-arm STX-RC crankset (with the odd hole spacing, can't remember the PCD off the top of my head)?

A lovely NOS middle ring would be great  - but in the real world, what have you got?

:?: :?: :?:

ah - sorry chums I got my wires crossed slightly -
the crankset in question is MC36, which as far as I can tell has a 'normal' hole pitch of 94 / 58mm; however it is an oddball because the middle ring carries the inner ring - see http://bernd.sluka.de/Fahrrad/Shimano/TM/FC-MC36-S_1997.gif.

unless you can tell me otherwise, if I want to run it as a triple (and I do), a standard middle ring (94 pcd) won't work. I'm after the middle ring with two sets of boltholes (1@94mm, 1@58mm). Hope this makes sense!

LGF - can you do me picture of the one you have?
cheers.

Is this any use? Not mint, but does just require a bloody good clean up

GT-Steve MC16 chainring

Hi Steve. Just joined retrobike. Is that triple chainring still available? If so what price.

Hi, yes it is.

Was thinking a tenner posted, and I'll throw in the crank arm for free as well...

I'll keep the crank arm then, and just chuck in a couple of flat pedals for a couple of quid.

I'f youre interested, then drop me a PM.
