If you click on my user name and ‘Start Conversation’I can't remember how to IM on this but I'm interested in buying this derailleur.
They are very nice, it's definitely the later 3x8 set up I'm going to need because I've got to work it around my 3x8 shifters. I think I'm beginning to understand the different numbering on the components now, I think I might need the parts that end in MC 36/38 eg the rear hub needs to be the 8 speed one which appears to be numbered FH MC38A.I've managed to dig them out.
For the front mechs I've got a FD-MC32 with a 34.3 clamp or a low mount FD-MC34 with a 31.8 clamp.
The rear mech is a RD-MC30.
And the cranks are double chainring, 170mm, the drive side is a FC-MC36 and the non-drive side is FC-MC34, though look identical.
They are sitting unused in the parts box so not going anywhere. I’ll give them a polish and send a pic across. Let me know what you think and I’d be happy to hold onto them til December.I've just done an image search of that type, they look cool and would be in keeping with the look of the mid '90s frame I've got, I'll have a think, I'm not going to be able to get anything else this month now but if they are still going around this time in Dec I might take you up on that offer.
I think it's going to end up being a bit if a Frankenstein but in keeping with the era it's from.
It's a slow process when you're poor haha.
