Sturmey Archer toggle chain question

There are Mark 1,2 & 3 available .Can someone please tell me what the difference is.
They all look the same to me .{from the pictures on line at least}.
Lenght /fitting to cable type?

Spot on .{Should of guessed the late SB had it documented} . I will look for the date /type on the hub and go from there .

They actually go uo to Mark 5 now for 175mm axles (the "marks" are literally tally lines engraved on the rod, so a Nark 5 has 5 marks).

Older hubs can use two-piece indicators which screw together inside the hub and give the adjustment indication at the LH end of the axle. These can be a bit of a pain but some (e.g. the AM indicator) can be swapped for a common AW one-piece toggle if you fit an AW clutch key,

Waiting for a mate to swop bits for an old 3 speed trigger . Had about 5 at one time .
Never thought I would need one :facepalm:
Even had a nice 3 sp fixed complete , sold it .Would of been spot on for a frame I have :cry:
