Me too. I took photo with my cheapo calipers and it's over an inch though. The other frame you can just about see is Carrera Quattro Comp which is also available with it's fork, bars and stem.

have you got a spare 1 inch headset cup to drop in headtube nd see if it moves around?

Yep, this wouldn't drop in so both frames are 1"
