Studded ice tyres

I just picked up a pair brand new on ebay for a pittance,anybody know anything about them?
They're nokian[though it reads 'nokia' Mount & Ground and i was wondering if they are purely offroad snow and ice or if they'd be fine for general on road use [in winter of course] where theres always a chance of the dreaded black ice about

I know they arent very retro but it was such a good bargain, i had to tell somebody

they are so cool on the road! sound like a frigging gatling gun! oh and sparks when you skid are SO cool! just dont try cornering or accelerating or braking in busy traffic!
