Sts lobo rear shock question

A chance encounter last night made me the owner of a sts lobo in what appears to be small. My first of many questions is about the rear shock. Mine is slightly touching the seat tube at the highest point of the rear shock. The shock also seems to lack rebound. Can anyone advise best way to sort it?

My plan is to strip and clean the bike as it all seems in good condition and original. The boxxers might need a repaint and the hope Hubs are pink but most other bits seem ok

Just in case anyone comes across this again. The rear shock moves away from the seat tube as you turn the shock mount upwards. The two side plates have to be removed first

Re:

I think the shocks were unique the Lobo, as they are a strange pull type. There was a bike shop in the UK that had a large spares / shock package and I think a new shock was only about £50 or so. Not sure about getting it serviced these days.

You'll struggle to find stickers as well, maybe someone has a CAD set or something you can use, pinkbike might be able to help as well. Mind me asking what you paid for the lobo? I have had 2-3 over the years but never really kept hold of them as they were always too small for me. Awesome looking bike tho

Hi ,

I managed to get some stickers via Gil on here. The shock could do with a rebuild I guess but I doubt I'll be riding it much. I've had the spring powder coated in red which has made it look better.

Mine is a small so it's too small for me too.
