Stronglight TS chainsets - need some help

There's always the option of threadserting 14mm cranks with 9/16 threads - it was something I did a number of times (as well as recovering 9/16 cranks) back in the day when people had damaged cranks after trying to fit the wrong pedals. Of course, unless you've already access to the specific oversize taps and other necessary kit the costs involved might make sticking with sourcing 9/16 cranks more sensible. Although I've seen it done perforce, I wouldn't recommend running a 9/16 tap through a 14mm crank unless you've a desire to have a pedal and crank part company at an inconvenient moment.

Additional: - I've taken a look around and the tools are more widely available than I thought. They're also cheaper than I'd imagined.

Briefly looked into re-tapping.

Figured for a "one off" it's not worth it and I'm not sure I could trust myself to get it all square and right without some practice.

While I don't have a bike shop close by to be sure, I guess it's now something very rarely done by professional mechanics.
