Stripping a ti frame of paint

I have a ti road frame which has been painted and has some stickers on it.

I want to put it back to the bare metal. I realise that brushed finish is too expensive but am I OK just going to a powdercoater to get the frame stripped of paint and bead blasted?

If so any recommendations for any near NW London, Uxbridge way.

I can supply the frame free of all the bits and pieces

thanks

Re:

Not shure about Ti but choose your "blaster" carefully, I've seen aluminium roughed up by a too coarse blasting agent. Vaz Finishes just off the SCR less than an hour from you will take good care of your frame.

thanks, I have thought about using him, but he has had mixed reviews. I will give him a call

Re:

There's a media blasters in West Drayton, can't remember the name but they can vapour blast with fine media. Will see if I can find a number.

Just going on my materials experience at work with titanium... It's very hard so it should blast no problems. It oxidises very quickly and we have trouble getting some adhesives to stick if you leave it too long. Ideally we try to move from surface prep to adhesive within about an hour if we can, or we run into trouble. I've never painted it, but it might need a special acid etch primer like you'd use on aluminium.

I am wondering now what the finish will look like. Apparently its not brush, but matt grey which is fine, however what worries me is that its going to be like plaster - and not smooth metal - would anyone know any different?
