On the whole Cambridge seems to have rather more that it's fair share of sticky-fingered people -- or they seem to be really very attracted to me. I'm beginning to think that it's time to move somewhere else!
As for insurance it was locked up and locked away so it may come to something. On assumption that (a) the insurance people actually deliver and (b) they won't fund a retrobike I thought I'd better have a look at some modern bikes -- I really can't say I get on with the geometry though, the top-tubes seem to be horribly short and they all feel as if they should be used for cruising along a beach (I reckon that a wicker basket would go quite nicely on the front of some of them!).
